Can you handle me? By Fumzy_fingers

I’m a bag of a lovely mess
Can you handle me?

I am volatile
The wind throttling
I’m the breeze slowly blowing
An Ash of my past scars
Coal of my present scars
Coal of my present wounds
Fire for my future laughter

I’m a being undiscovered
A secret undisclosed
Yet I am me
I’m the raging storm
Yet your calming sea

I’m a whole lot you don’t see
Yet that which you see is me
Or maybe you will never really see me

So I ask again
Can you handle me?

The Mercy Of God

Oh God, have pity on me.
Oh God, I’m ready to make sacrifices for your love.
Oh God, please help me.
Oh God, only your mercy and love can set me free.
I’ll erase and sacrifice my pride for your love,
I am also ready to sacrifice my existence for your mercy,
Oh God, your love and mercy is all I ask for.
Oh God, have pity on me.
My life is falling apart,
Oh God, only your love and mercy can help me now.
Give me a few moments of closeness to you,
I will always be a beggar for your mercy,
Please give me a few moments of relief,
Everyone sacrifices for what they want,
Your love and mercy is what I want,
I’ll erase and sacrifice my pride for your love,
I’ll erase and sacrifice my existence for your mercy.
Not a single sin do we commit without your knowledge,
There is no tomorrow without you,
Oh God, without your love and mercy.
My heart will become like a stone,
There will be no movement in it,
Oh God, I’ll sacrifice my existence for your mercy.
If the only way to get your mercy,
Is by sacrificing my existence
Then I’ll do it.
Because we have to make sacrifices at some point,
And I don’t see the point of living without your
Love And Mercy.

Don’t let anybody tell you who to be or write your narrative.

To be successful in life, you have to be yourself. Do not let other people tell you how to live and also do not try to copy others because what works for me might not work for you.

Everybody’s got something to say about what you do. People you know, people you love, people you hate. Even people you’ve never met. They tell you what to do, who to be, and how to live. But nobody who tells you what to do actually knows what’s best for you. So stop listening to them. People don’t know you as well as they think they know you. No matter how long you’ve known a person, they don’t know the real you. They know the version you choose to share with them which might be 80% of yourself, but it’s never 100%. The advice they give you can only be as successful as the amount they know about you — the real you. Even people with the best intentions are influenced by their own desires. They want you to be happy and successful, but in a way that fits their own definition of those terms. That definition may not match your own. The advice people give you is based on what they would do in a similar situation. But what they would do is based on who they are, not who YOU are. Their intentions may be genuine, but the reasoning is often misaligned. Other people may love you so much the way you are that they fear your growth may impact your relationship with them. But it’s in your best interest to evolve into the person you want to become and the life you want to have. Beware the person who fears your evolution.

You are the expert on you. Nobody can know what’s best for you better than you can so trust your instincts, stop listening to others, and own your decisions. You’ll be glad you did. One of the best ways to build confidence in your decision making is to broaden your expertise and deepen your knowledge about how the world works.

Negative thinking doesn’t mean you’re a pessimist. It just mean you’re being realistic.

Do you ever catch yourself being critical, judgmental, or full of fear and worry? And do you ever worry about how many negative thoughts you have? We’re taught that negative thoughts are bad, that they’re “toxic,” they “lower your vibration,” keep you stuck, and so on. We’re taught that in order to feel self-assured and confident, we should banish negative thoughts from our lives. Kind of like, goodbye, negative thoughts; hello, higher vibration, better boyfriend, nicer car, inner peace, and so on.
So what do you do with all that negative junk in your head? How do you make it stop? And is trying to jam a positive thought over a negative one really the best way to manage the situation? People often advise you to trade a negative thought for a positive one using techniques like affirmations. Quick, quell those negative thoughts! But is this really the best way forward?

Most people misunderstand this whole negative thinking debacle because they misunderstand what thoughts are in the first place.
Happiness doesn’t depend on how few negative thoughts you have, but on what you do with the ones you have.

Everything that breaks you down could also build your character.

It is normal in this life for good things and bad things to happen to everyone. But the actual truth is that, there is good in everything that happens to us, if only we search for it. This is a story of two kids, who were orphans, so they went to live with their grandfather who was an alcoholic. One of the kids following his grandfather’s steps, became a chronic alcohol addiction and the other became a successful businessman. When both were asked “why are you the way you are?” Their answers were the same “because my grandfather was an alcoholic”. The same event, the same childhood, two different outcomes. This is true for almost all situations. One decided to become an alcoholic because he’s grandfather was also an alcoholic. The other decided to work hard so as to provide food since his grandfather was an alcoholic and wouldn’t be able to cater for their needs. The same reason, but two different outcomes. what happens to us is an objective reality, how we respond is a subjective choice. We don’t control what happens to us, all we control are our thoughts and reactions to what happens to us. Remember that: You’re defined in this life not by your good luck or your bad luck, but your reaction to those strokes of fortune. Don’t let anyone tell you different.

If you got questions or you need advice, then talk to God cause he’s the only one that listens even when you think he isn’t.

Have you ever asked the question, why doesn’t prayer work? Why at times does it appear that God ignores us when we pray to Him. Many have prayed for God to intervene and solve a problem that they are struggling with, but sometimes God‘s apparent answer is silence. Even when we feel that God is not answering our prayers, you can always know God is a God of love. God created us and knows infinitely more than we know. He knows what is best for us, and what would not be good for us. If you have children, when they were very small, sometimes they asked for things that would not be good for them, or would harm them. For good reasons sometimes parents do not always give their children what they ask for, when they ask for it. Parents give them what is best for them. It is the same way in our prayers to God. God gives us what is best for us. We are God’s children and He gives us what is best for us, and at a time when it is best for us. Our lives must be right with God before He can answer our prayers.
One of the reasons we feel our prayers are not being answered, is because we stop praying. In reality, we should not be worried so much about if God hears our prayers – He does and He does care. What we should be worried about is if because of temptations, hard times, and trials we get discouraged, and give up praying. We shouldn’t let the hard times make us stop praying and talking to God. Never give up in life.

SILENCE

This piece is titled silence. “Silence is the most powerful and loudest form of screaming, but not all have the ability to hear it” – Author Of Pain.

When you’re suffering, it’s natural to want to talk to someone about your problems. Everyone needs a listening ear sometimes. When you can’t find someone to talk to, it can be painful. Understandably, you would want to vent to a friend or loved one about what you’re experiencing. As much as others care, you are the one who ultimately has to handle your challenges. That might sound scary but think of it as an empowering statement. You have the tools to change your life for the better. That doesn’t mean you can’t ask for help and you can.
How do you cope when you have problems? The natural instinct is to find someone to talk about your problems with, but that’s not always possible. If you could let loose about your issues who would tell? Naturally, you talk to friends and family. In addition to confiding in the people close to you, there are other ways to find support. Going to counseling or seeing an online therapist can help you when you’re suffering. Your friend isn’t your therapist. It’s essential to be careful when you’re asking for support from those close to you. There’s a balance between being a supportive friend and acting like someone’s counselor. You want a friend to be just that, a friend. A therapist, on the other hand, is a dedicated mental health professional whose job it is to care for you. They want to help you navigate your problems. Many people in your position turn to mental health professionals to talk about their issues. Therapy helps people figure out how to get through tough times. A conversation can make a difference in helping someone feel less alone and more supported in recovering from anxiety and depression. Don’t underestimate the importance of just ‘being there’.
The best we can be friends to eachother and the best way to help prevent suicide, depression, anxiety and loneliness is by possessing three important qualities which are;

  1. Listening
  2. Asking
  3. Supportive
We should always be available and be a good listener when our friends needs us, we should always ask questions when we feel something may be wrong, because sometimes, they might not be able to speak out, and we should always be supportive no matter the condition they are in.
The best way to help ourselves too, is by
  4. Talking to someone who cares
  5. Know when to ask for help.
It’s important to know when to ask for help, don’t keepatters to yourself till the point that it becomes too late to ask for help.

Dearest Darlene by Fumzy Fingers

What can beat your beautiful face
Devoid of all artificial aid
With a smile lighting it up
Such that shames even the rising sun

What music can man say is sweeter
Than the mellifluous sounds of your laughter
What sounds can pull man to ecstasy
Other than the reverberating tune of your voice

What can human say is most intoxicating
Other than the arousing scent of your body
What could make men falter
Other than the sensual gait of your steps

What can bring men to ruin
Other than the scorch of your scorn
What can bring women to doom
Other than the flames of your anger

Alas dearest Darlene
All are drawn to you yet run from you
For you are the mystery
Humans are cursed to ponder forever.

Love In Four Seasons By Michelle James

I want you to search June for the last piece of my heart
For I have walked away but I am sick
A part of me is struggling to walk on dry rustled leaves
Because my limbs are slave to your words
And my heart a captive to your summer lies.

You have not said the word
I have not said your voice in the autumn whispers
I long for your skin, like a baby yearns its mother
My stomach hurts badly and my chest burns daily
For sunlight has failed to bring me joy.

The rain is no longer a friend of mine
My garden is withered from lack of water
And April heat failed to bring me showers
Because I sit in the still shadows where you left me
Hoping you return the last piece of me.

I need you to say the word
I next to know you still care
So I can move on to find peace
I need you to tell December her frost is overdue
And you’d like to return to me now.
